Parades and Demonstrations

Special Events form and Parade Request form must be filed with the Cherokee Police Department 45 days prior to the event.

Insurance is required for any event on EBCI property.

All service request must be received two weeks before event date.

If event needs are not submitted by the two-week time line the EBCI may not be able to assist your event.

Please attach a draft of the entry form/release for participants.

If your organization is requesting permission to use BIA property, approval must be obtained from the Superintendent of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Cherokee Agency and attached to this request.

Parades and Demonstrations are subject to Tribal law as stated in Chapter 167 of the Cherokee Code.

*Horses must be diapered or must be accompanied
by a pooper-scooper/ manure attendant at all times. There are absolutely no exceptions!
