Wolftown Council Members

Mike Parker is serving his fifth term as a Representative for the Wolftown Community. He is a 1982 graduate of Cherokee High School, and received his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Western Carolina University. He serves on the VOC, Social Services, Lands Acquisition, Enrollment, Roads Commission, Parks & Rec., and HIP Committees. Mike has two children, Rebecca and Race. He enjoys deep sea fishing, sailing, and any sports that his children are participating in.

Vice Chairman Bill Taylor is serving his second term as a Council Representative for the Wolftown Community, and his first term as Vice Chairman of Tribal Council. He is the son of Jonathan Edd and Cleo Taylor. His father served as Wolftown Council Representative for many years, and served as Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. He attended Cherokee Central Schools, and obtained his Associates of Applied Science from Montreat College in 2006. Bill is married to Katrina Calhoun Taylor, and they’ve been married for 21 years. They have two children, Nichole and Braden, and two grandsons Korbin and Kollin. Bill enjoys golf, fishing, and attending his son’s athletic events.

Committees – Community Services, Health Board, QHA, Timber & Natural Resources, Planning Board, Business Committee. He serves as the EBCI alternate on the following National Committees: USET, NCAI, NIGA.
